Tap water is excellent — Copenhagen's tap water is among the cleanest in Europe.
Cycling is the main transport — learn Danish cycling rules or you risk accidents and fines. Winters are cold and dark (sunset by 3:30pm in December).
Service included in prices. Rounding up is a nice gesture. Tipping is not expected but appreciated for exceptional service.
Casual and minimalist — Danish style is clean, functional, and understated. Black is popular. Dress in layers for changeable weather.
