By using Ouoba (ouobanyc.com), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Platform Overview
Ouoba is a travel information, support, and discovery platform. We provide travel-related content, community features, safety reports, and access to third-party services. Ouoba is not a travel carrier, airline, hotel, insurance company, transport operator, legal service provider, or government authority. All bookings, purchases, claims, and services available through Ouoba are fulfilled by independent third-party partners under their own terms, policies, and conditions.
Affiliate Disclosure
Some links on Ouoba are affiliate links. This means Ouoba may earn a commission if a user clicks a partner link and completes a qualifying booking, purchase, or action, at no additional cost to the user. Ouoba aims to feature travel services that are relevant and useful to travelers.
Third-Party Services
Third-party services featured on Ouoba are operated by independent providers. Ouoba does not control and is not responsible for partner availability, pricing, cancellations, service quality, delays, disruptions, errors, refunds, booking outcomes, claim decisions, or changes to third-party offers, products, or services.
Information Disclaimer
Content on Ouoba is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, immigration, visa, insurance, tax, medical, financial, safety, or other professional advice. Users should consult official authorities, qualified professionals, or service providers before making important travel, financial, legal, or health-related decisions.
Flight Compensation Services
Information about flight compensation services on Ouoba is provided for general informational purposes only. Eligibility for compensation depends on factors including airline policies, jurisdiction, route, documentation, timing, and the review process of the third-party claim provider. Ouoba does not guarantee that any compensation claim will be accepted, processed, approved, or paid.
Pricing and Availability
Prices, rates, availability, routes, coverage, inventory, and service details displayed or referenced on Ouoba may change at any time without notice. Final terms, pricing, and availability are determined solely by the third-party provider at the time of booking, purchase, or service confirmation.
Subscription Billing and Cancellation
5.1 Subscription Billing. Ouoba offers paid subscription tiers (Pro Monthly and Pro Annual) and a one-time access pass (Trip Pass), each described on the pricing page. By subscribing, you authorize Ouoba's payment provider, Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified), to charge your payment method the applicable fee at the cadence stated for your selected plan, including any applicable taxes. Stripe is the data controller for your billing details and applies its own terms and privacy policy to payment processing.
5.2 Auto-Renewal. Pro Monthly and Pro Annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for your plan, charged to the payment method on file, until you cancel. Trip Pass is a one-time purchase and does not renew. Following each successful charge, you will receive a confirmation email summarizing the charge and the next renewal date (where applicable).
5.3 Cancellation. You may cancel your Pro Monthly or Pro Annual subscription at any time by emailing contact@ouobanyc.com from the email address associated with your purchase. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period; you will retain access to paid features through that date and will not be charged for any subsequent billing period. Trip Pass cannot be canceled β it is a one-time purchase that expires automatically after 30 days. Cancellation does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund of fees already paid; refund eligibility is governed by Section 5.4.
5.4 Refund Policy. Ouoba offers a 7-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans, including Pro Monthly, Pro Annual, and Trip Pass. If, within 7 days of your purchase date, you are not satisfied with Ouoba Pro, contact us at contact@ouobanyc.com and we will issue a full refund β no questions asked. Refunds are returned to the original payment method. After the 7-day window, fees already paid are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
5.5 Free Trial. Certain Ouoba features (including the Trip Budget Planner) may be offered with a 30-day free trial period. The trial begins on first use and is tracked via a browser cookie on the device used. The trial is per-device and does not require payment information to start. At trial expiration, access to the trial-gated feature ends automatically; no charge is made and no subscription is created. Clearing browser cookies may end the trial early.
5.6 Price Changes. Ouoba may change the price of Pro Monthly or Pro Annual subscriptions for future billing periods. We will notify you by email at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect for your subscription. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel before the new price takes effect under Section 5.3, and the price change will not apply to you. Continued use of your subscription after the new price takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
