Tap water is excellent quality throughout Sweden.
Extremely cold in northern Sweden during winter (-30°C possible). Short daylight hours in winter (as little as 6 hours in Stockholm, near-constant darkness in the north). Wildlife encounters (moose) when driving rural roads.
Service charge is included. Rounding up or adding 5–10% for excellent service is optional and appreciated.
Casual and functional. Swedes dress practically for weather. Smart-casual for dining. Outdoor gear is essential for nature trips.
